As Sonic begins to chow chili dogs for a snack, he finds a message in the sack from his mother urging him to head to Speedster Island. When he, his brother and his sister arrive, what they encounter is an ancient sanctuary that is about to be overrun by Robotnik and sold off bit by bit. The Hedgehogs must persuade Bartleby to end his deal to build a resort on the beautiful island and save the people of the village from becoming slaves of Robotnik.

What makes this so problematic is that his cat Spartacus has just made the finals of a big cat show, and winning has been a lifelong dream of his. Meanwhile, Maya and Elliott fret over whether their marriage is legal or not and end up seeking out the help of the cult's strange lawyer, Larry. Larry successfully annuls the marriage, but the two are left still unsure about the possible future implications of the whole affair.

When a reporter comes sniffing around, Sally gives Dick the title of Security Officer and orders him to kill him; however he can't, so she makes him High Commander and herself Security Officer so that she can kill the reporter herself. Dick then reminds Sally that he is now the High Commander, and that there is nothing she can do to reverse it.

Moesha tries to apologize, but Frank's too angry to discuss the matter. Later, Andell comes by to find Frank alone. When he tells her about the pills, Andell relates his experience to one she had with her father. She questions whom Frank is trying to protect--Moesha or himself. Frank asks for Dee's forgiveness and apologizes to Moesha. Meanwhile, Moesha stands up for Dorian when he's wrongfully accused of stealing.
