Cinnamon sneaks into Wellman's room, blows a hole in the wall, and inserts a fake safe. Meanwhile, Barney and Willy break into the real vault from the rear and steal the 4 million in profits that Wellman has tucked away, and which he is to split with his fellow mobsters at a dinner that night. They open the real vault and discover the money missing. Going upstairs, they find Cinnamon who claims to be Wellman's girlfriend, tells him she knew ""it"" wouldn't work, and reveals the fake safe. As Cinnamon and the rest of the team depart, the other mobsters tell Wellman to open the safe or they'll kill him, and don't believe his desperate pleas that he's never seen that safe before in his life.

The Dynamic Duo take her to their base of operations (but only after making her fall asleep first). When they arrive, the Joker, Penguin and assorted thugs are revealed to be hiding in the Batmobile's trunk. Batman, however, anticipated this and none of the criminals know where the Batcave is. A figure erupts, with Batman and Robin finally ending the zodiac crimes.

Ralph Schuyler is a government agent who goes undercover as a boat captain to spy on Felice Greer, the wife of an international embezzler hiding out in Mexico and she's presumably coming down to him with the stolen money. Kimble happens to be on the boat too as a hired deck hand. When Ralph learns that Kimble's identity is false, he takes Kimble's fingerprints and after an 'emergency' landing, the agent leaves the fingerprints with a local Mexican shopkeeper and notifies the authorities of Felice's whereabouts. But when Ralph is badly burned in a engine room fire, Kimble tries to save him and takes over the boat's steering to safely make it to their destination. But when Kimble intercepts a cable with the incriminating report on his fingerprints, Kimble is torn between fleeing or staying to help Ralph, while Kimble also discovers that Felice's husband is up to no good concerning the stolen money.
