Moya arrives at Earth in present day, Christmas. The crew show their ships and technology to Earth's scientists. Crichton starts writing a journal. The creature left on board Moya by Grayza manages to get to Earth where it starts killing and hunting down Crichton.

Season 1, Episode 2
Raven has a vision about Eddie failing his Spanish test, which would have gotten him kicked off the basketball team. She also sees the answers in her vision, too. She gets Eddie to agree to study at her house, but he does terrible. When Chelsea accidentally let slip that Raven saw the answers, Eddie wants her to give them to him, but Raven refuses. He leaves saying she is not a real friend. Later, Raven tries to apologize to Eddie, but he would not listen. She then tries to convince Senorita Rodriguez to postpone the test, but she doesn't. However, she does make up a new test which is not even easier. Raven and Chelsea disguise themselves as window cleaners to try and warn Eddie of the change. They eventually succeed, and even though Eddie feels like he fails the test, he actually passes and remains on the team.

Season 1, Episode 1
Raven gets mad and tells off her teacher for calling on her when she didn't know an answer. Raven thought the class would have her back, but they don't. Raven's teacher, Mr. Petracelli, requests a parent–teacher conference with Raven's parents. Raven puts on a purple outfit, disguised as her mother. Raven almost pulls it off, however Mr. Petracelli wanted to speak to Raven and her mother at the same time. Mr. Petracelli gets angry and leaves the school. Just then, Raven's parents came to the school and recognize Raven. She loses her phone privileges for two weeks. Meanwhile, Eddie gets his locker taken by someone else. He finally gets the guts to stand up to the bully and gets his locker back.

Season 1, Episode 3
Raven has a vision of Cory saying he hates her, so she goes to great lengths to throw him the "best birthday party ever". But, things change, after Victor and Tanya get food poisoning, and can't provide transportation to the zoo. Raven decides to throw a party anyway, and phones around for an animal attraction to come to the house. They manage to find a guy called Reptile Rick, but when he accidentally eats some of the food that poisoned Tanya and Victor, Raven has to take charge and become 'Reptile Raven'!

Barnaby's wife, Joyce, finds a dead body on the Midsomer Florey village green while taking part in a watercolour painting class, and she recognizes it as the elderly Miss Fairfax.Barnaby is given the case, then finds himself taken off it and replaced by a team from the National Intelligence Squad, while he is assigned to deal with a missing handbag. However, he continues his investigation into the murder, finding deceit and double-dealing. It appears that 'Miss Fairfax' was not an elderly spinster at all, but a young detective sergeant from the National Intelligence Squad working under cover, and that her colleagues are busy fitting up the village handyman for the murder of an old lady who never was. He discovers that someone is busy hunting for some five million pounds still missing from an old robbery. In the closing moments, Barnaby has to lock two of the National Intelligence Squad's officers in a bank strong-room, where they are trying to snatch the missing cash, and to arrest the

Ash's newly caught Treecko may be a bit standoff-ish, but the little green Pokémon is quite a fighter. When Team Rocket sees Treecko knocked down and hurt by a Seviper, they decide that they must have that Seviper. Jessie is very impressed with its "sneaky, snakey ways." Meanwhile, Treecko escapes from the Pokémon Center where Ash brought it to recover. When the gang finds Treecko, it is practicing its attack moves. Again and again, Treecko jumps from the top of a waterfall and tries to break a rock at the bottom with its tail. Ash is very impressed with the rigor of its training. All of Treecko's hard work appears to have paid off—when Team Rocket attacks and catches Pikachu with the help of their new Seviper, Treecko is able to save the day.

Naruto and Sasuke continue to fight Haku and are getting beaten bad. After having Naruto try and escape a few times, Sasuke begins to see a pattern. Jack and the team search for a pregnant woman, Kathy Dobson, who disappeared from a hospital before being told that she has serious complications. As the detectives race against time to find Kathy, their investigation gradually reveals that Kathy's seemingly happy life actually hasn't been going very well. She is eight-and-a-half months pregnant and, under the tight control of her husband Paul, has withdrawn from her family and friends. Paul's brother Ritchie, who has been following Kathy and providing Paul with addresses she visits, lists a woman who may be affiliated with an ""underground railroad"" that helps battered women. When the team members find the woman, they learn that she has been assaulted by Paul—but she still refuses to lead them to Kathy.

Meanwhile, Joey hasn't heard from Eddie since Christmas and finds his apartment empty; Pacey starts skipping work to spend time with Emma; Jen's insecurities as a peer counselor are compounded when C.J. is assigned to train her.
