It appears as though Ann is also very close with the thieving Irish Travellers they are investigating, determined to save a young girl from their style of life.

The strongest lead is a mysterious photograph of their daughter with an unidentified man, and when the pathologist reveals their child Lucy was in the early stages of a pregnancy, the race is on to find him.
